Field Studies Blood Root Kindle

Blood Root Kindle is one of three wines from a high-alpine vineyard on the backside of a southern Vermont mountain. The fruit, grown by Shabir Kamal on the Thurber family farm (Lilac Ridge), comes from a site defined by daisy fleabane, Carolina horsenettle, and limestone outcrops, with dairy cows grazing in the meadow above.
