Nestled in the hills of Staffolo in the Castelli di Jesi DOCG, La Staffa began in the 1970s as a family estate producing wine for personal enjoyment. Today, under the guidance of Riccardo Baldi, the winery has grown into a celebrated producer of Verdicchio, known for its elegance and precision. The vineyards, some of the highest in the area, sit on soils rich in marine fossils, giving the wines their distinctive mineral character.
La Staffa’s Verdicchio wines are a true reflection of this unique terroir. Carefully vinified in a combination of acacia and cement casks and aged on lees, they showcase freshness, complexity, and depth. With a commitment to quality and tradition, La Staffa continues to earn recognition for producing some of the finest Verdicchio in the region.
