Fibbiano winery is located in Terricciola, in the hills of Pisa, where soils rich in oyster and coral reef fossils create a unique mineral foundation for the vineyards. The Cantoni family was inspired to purchase the estate in the 1990s after discovering a 120-year-old vineyard planted with historic Sangiovese clones, including SanForte, Brunellone, and Sangiovese Polveroso.
With the guidance of Professor Bandinelli, often called the “Father of Sangiovese”, the family carefully selected vines to preserve the best heritage material. Today, these soils and vines produce elegant, savory, and mineral-driven reds from Sangiovese, Colorino, Canaiolo, and Ciliegiolo, alongside a saline, aromatic white blend of Colombano and Vermentino.
Fattoria Fibbiano wines reflect the richness of the terroir, the history of the vines, and a commitment to crafting wines of balance, elegance, and authenticity.
