Tempa di Zoè is the latest venture of Bruno de Conciliis, a visionary winemaker and cultural thinker from the Cilento region of Campania. In 1980, a young Bruno, fresh out of university, had planned to live abroad—but when a devastating earthquake struck his homeland, he returned to help rebuild. Witnessing the decline of an agricultural area whose youth left in search of opportunity, he dedicated his life to restoring his region. His first project focused on an organic farm of aromatic herbs and bees. By the 1990s, Bruno had become a pioneer of sustainable winemaking in Cilento, crafting wines that capture the unique terroir: schist soils, the cooling influence of sea winds, and a viticultural history dating back over 2,800 years.
