Bruno de Villepin, a tenth-generation winemaker from a historic Burgundy family, has managed his family’s Champagne estate since 1999. The 2.12-hectare vineyard, once purchased by his great-great-grandfather from the Duchess of Uzès (granddaughter of Veuve Clicquot), is planted with Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir.
Bruno farms sustainably, with HVE Level 3 and VDC certifications, and since 2024 the estate has been fully organic. In the cellar, he favors gentle, unfiltered winemaking, parcel-specific vinifications, and since 2023 works exclusively with indigenous yeasts.
His hands-on approach in the vineyard and commitment to ecology result in Champagnes that faithfully express their terroir.
