Noelia Ricci

Crafting wines that let Romagna’s calcareous soils, high elevations, and native grapes speak with purity, precision, and elegance

  • Hectares / Altitude: 22 acres / 656 – 1,115 feet above sea level
  • Grape varieties: Sangiovese, Trebbiano
  • Established: 2010
  • Region: Italy, Emilia-Romagna
  • Appellation: Romagna DOC

Acquired in 1941 by Commander Giuseppe Ricci, the estate’s true potential was recognized by his daughter, Noelia Ricci, who planted the first vineyards in the 1970s. Today, her grandson Marco Cirese carries forward her vision, blending respect for tradition with a modern understanding of terroir.

The vineyards, located at high elevation on calcareous yellow clay soils, are planted with native Romagnolo grape varieties. Eschewing barrel aging, the winery lets the wines speak purely of the land, capturing freshness, precision, and the unique character of Romagna. Each bottle reflects the estate’s commitment to authenticity and the singular beauty of its terroir.
