Nestled in the heart of Nuits-Saint-Georges, Dufouleur Frères has been crafting exceptional wines since 1596. Today, under the stewardship of François-Xavier and Marc Dufouleur, the estate combines centuries-old tradition with modern innovation. In 2015, they unveiled a state-of-the-art barrel-aging cellar beneath the Château, enhancing their winemaking capabilities.
The estate is committed to sustainable viticulture, earning the Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE) Level 3 certification—the highest in France. Practices include mechanical soil tilling, natural pest management, and minimal intervention to preserve the integrity of the terroir.
Visitors are invited to explore the winery’s rich heritage at the Œnothèque, located within the Château’s grounds. This space offers a curated experience where guests can taste a selection of wines, including the renowned Cuvée du Château, and learn about the meticulous craftsmanship behind each vintage.
