Desolas Mezcal is rooted in the heritage of San Luis Potosí, where agave Salmiana, known as the “Green Giant” – grows to maturity over decades in the region’s arid, limestone-rich soils. Roasted in above-ground brick ovens, crushed with a traditional tahona, naturally fermented, and distilled in copper stills, Desolas honors artisanal techniques while offering a lighter, botanical style with subtle smoke. Founded by entrepreneur GG Mirvis in 2020, Desolas embodies the energy of the sun (del sol) and a modern vision of mezcal: elegant, refreshing, and versatile. Recently introduced to the United States, it has already earned Double Gold at international competitions and is featured in leading hospitality venues.
