The grapes for Prosecco Col Dorato come from the Rai district of San Polo di Piave, near Treviso, an area characterised by clayey soils, sometimes with the presence of pebbles, which favour the production of grapes rich in scents of acacia flowers, lemon peel and grapefruit. The perlage of Col Dorato is delicate and persistent, enhancing the freshness of Prosecco.
