Straw yellow colour with vivid greenish reflections. A dynamic and profound wine, an expression of Tuscan Chardonnay. Il Marzocco enchants you with its explosive notes of lime blossom, grapefruit and ripe pineapple, enriched by intriguing nuances of honey and flint. The palate is full and creamy with elegant lemon notes, then sage and elderflower. The palate is delighted by a vibrant, mineral finish with a slight woody aftertaste.

    This vineyard was planted in 2003. The vines are guyot-trained at an altitude of 300 metres a.s.l. / 984 feet a.s.l. and grow at a density of 3,579 plants / hectare (1,431 plants / acre) with a North-West row orientation.

  • Vinification

    Whole bunch press and cold decanting for approximately 24 hours. Alcoholic fermentation is carried out by the yeasts selected from our pied de cuve.

    At least 5 months on fine lees, in barrique and stainless steel
