Heydi Bonanini, owner of the Possa winery, has dedicated his life to the heroic viticulture of Cinque Terre. Growing up amid the famously steep terraces of Riomaggiore, he learned to restore and maintain these challenging vineyards, preserving centuries-old winemaking traditions.
Bonanini crafts wines that reflect both the unique terroir and his commitment to natural practices, using traditional barrels made of chestnut, acacia, and cherry wood. His biodynamic approach extends beyond the vineyard to include beehives and a small grove of lemon trees, creating a harmonious ecosystem that enriches the character and authenticity of his wines.
